This course is only available to be completed at our Portsmouth training centre. It’s a legal requirement to complete this training before operating the Moffett truck, and you must be over the age of 18 to do so. This would mean that you would likely need a class 1, Class 2, or 7.5 Tonne licence to drive the category vehicle the Moffett truck is attached to. Once you have passed your training, you will receive your operating card and certificate, and your training will be updated on The Trained Operator Passport Scheme (TOPS.)Īlthough you do not need a driving licence to complete this training, Moffett trucks are generally-stored on the back of a vehicle. We offer a novice course which will take five days to complete, an experienced operators’ course that takes three days, and a one-day refresher course.
